Just a quick post about my outfit today. As most of you now I love to mix my denim pieces together, no matter the shade or texture difference. Today I have on my men's Gap denim shirt over my denim "Hazo pants" from 7th AVENUE from Lagos, Nigeria; their chic and modern twist on the palazzo pants.
I am always looking unique pieces to add something special to my outfit looks, and these pants my friends are everything right now for me!
To throw some colour into my blue stream, I tried out the scarf trend, tying it around my neck. A little red print silk from my favorite vintage store, BLOSSOM AND WEDNESDAY.
The General Post Office located on the edge of James Town served as my backdrop for this shoot. It is really iconic to me as it is the first colonial building I usually see as I drive into the historic area. I love the effortlessness of this building. The shuttle peach paint and cream pillars, and the pointed roofs that tower over most buildings around it. The clock plastered on one of its "towers", creates a sense of poised urgency. Finally the sign, announcing itself, in simple text, like its no big deal; "General Post Office."
